Yes they are refurbished but I don’t mind that on something like this at all, especially when it gets you a great deal on a quality product. Natchez is rocking out all kinds of Nikon Scopes at great discounts. I’m going to pick up this one for my rifles…$139.99 for $89.95. Anyone whose ever shot knows that spending money on good optics is money well spent.Get the Deal
Just a little one today; This little pocket sharpener is on clearance at Midway USA. Good price and high reviews for a handy little tool. Probably not worth the shipping by itself but great as an add on to a larger order from there. Midway USA gets very high marks for service too!Get the Deal
Sportsman’s guide has GERAT prices on these range targets that “splatter” a bit of neon on impact so you can see what you hit from where you stand. Makes range time even more fun…best price I’ve seen on this great training aid.Get the Deal
Holy crap did I hit a jackpot on Ammo and Bags! Credit to the guys on the Zombie Hunters forum for pointing out Natchez Shooters Supplies which has some GREAT deals right now. Click on this link for 200 rounds of Federal American Eagle for $60.90. But don’t forget to click on the main page and look through the rest of their deals as well. I’m pumped about this site…Get the Deal
This might seem a bit over the top but in terms of security, what is your plan if you subdue a looter? This is an inexpensive solution that would allow you to be safe without using lethal force. These 10 packs from LA police Gear seem like a pretty good idea to me!Get the Deal
Cheaper Than Dirt is right up with bulk ammo.com for everyday best prices on Ammo. It generally takes a Cabela’s or Bass Pro Special to beat them. If you have a rifle chambered in 5.56 / .223 (common for AR-15’s) this deal on PMC is about the best price you’re going to find. $6.01 per 20 round box works out to $.30 per round and this is new brass from a pretty good company. Big thumbs up for bulk target practice ammo on this one!Get the Deal
Definitely a “Best Deal,” bulkammo.com is offering 1,000 rounds of Sellier & Bellot 9mm ammo for $199.99. That’s $.20 per round…very hard to beat even with shipping cost and S&B is solid stuff. Keep in mind that in most cases when buying online, the lack of sales tax helps offset shipping costs.
I’m going to tread into some dangerous territory here with a few hand gun recommendations. The only danger is that of drawing the ire of the gun snobs of which there are many out there! I fully admit that I’ve only been shooting a little while. I’ve done a ton of homework and talked to many people that know a lot more than me. I understand that your police friend told you a 9mm round won’t take down a crazed drug addict. I understand that your $1200 45ACP will put bigger holes in things. I’m simply here to suggest a few guns for the rest of us who are on a budget and getting started in the prepping world. We are all about value here. A reliable handgun at a good price that will make for a nice deterrent that goes “bang” and sends lead accurately through the air if needed is all we are looking for. Taurus PT – 809
This gun is my personal favorite. It is the one I own and use. 17 rounds fit in the magazine, it is easy to use and the external hammer just makes sense. Add in a great warranty from Taurus for less than $400 and I defiantly consider this one a Best Deal.
I bought mine from cheaper than dirt. I suggested the gun to my brother and he bought his from Bud’s. Either online retailer gets great marks for customer service and price. Buying guns online does involve some paper work, but it’s really quite easy. Again, read through our firearms primer for more on the purchase process.Get the Deal
I will fully admit that I’m putting this one out there without actually firing it. I just know from homework that Ruger is an extremely well respected name, this model gets consistently good reviews, and the price jumps off the Bud’s page at $300.Get the Deal
Everyone has their ammo preferences but this one is ours for practice shooting. Remmington doesn’t make crap and the price is fantastic. You might be able to find some PMC brand stuff a bit cheaper that rates pretty well but this is more readily available. I get it at my local Bass Pro for $60, but you can find it other places too. That equates to less than $.25 a round for good brass cased stuff. These are not your best self defense rounds to stock up on, you’ll want hollow points for that…
Be careful ordering ammo online as shipping costs can kill what seems like a great deal!
